Wildlife Exclusion

After your home is secure, it is vital to restore your home. Wildlife do not make the best house guests. They can cause damage when entering and living in your home. These unwelcome guests might infect your family with diseases or parasites. Trutech offers services to repair damage, close entry points, and disinfect affected areas.

Erase evidence the animal was ever there.

  • Clean up any debris brought in with the animal
  • Repair damage caused by the animal in your home
  • Seal any potential entry points
  • Apply sanitization and disinfectant treatments where needed
  • Restore attic insulation (if possible)

Protecting Your Home

Recurring services are offered for every animal type. We recommend having a service to keep animals away after an invasion, but we also offer preventative recurring services. We create a plan that is catered to your needs and your property. Though we offer monthly, bimonthly, and quarterly services, we will inform you what frequency of services will keep your property free of your problem animal(s).

Seal holes and Cover openings

Wildlife can squeeze into extremely small spaces (pencil width is big enough for many rodents) so it’s important to make sure they are completely sealed.

Vent sealing icon

Seal Vents

Many rodents utilize ridge vents, foundational vents, and off-ridge vents to gain access to your home. Blocking access to these vents greatly increases the protection you have against unwanted wildlife.

Erect Fences and Bury Barriers

Dig defense prevents animals like armadillos, rats, raccoons, and groundhogs from digging underneath property foundations, sheds, and fences.

Seal Chimneys

Chimneys are popular hiding spots for a variety of wildlife. Installing a proper cap on your chimney keeps animals out while protecting your property.

Attic Insulation Services

Animals in the attic can destroy your insulation. The proper amount of attic insulation will help reduce your energy bills.

Certain pests will burrow or create runs through it. Feces and urine contaminate the insulation. Other species will use it as part of their nest.

Depending on the severity of the damage will determine the solutions. In extreme cases, a full attic restoration is necessary. In other cases, we can remove and replace the destroyed sections.

Our technicians can install new insulation to bring your attic up to the recommended level of insulation.

Dens and Nests

Wildlife will create dens and nests with the available materials in the nooks and crannies of your attic space. Dens and nests are often made using your insulation or HVAC ductwork, but animals can also use cardboard boxes, clothe, paper, and anything available. Dens and nests can reduce the energy efficiency of your home and destroy stored items.

Droppings

Feces and urine from any animal infestation not only create terrible odors but also cause structural damage to your home. Animal droppings will contaminate the insulation and reduce the r-value. Feces and urine can rot and contaminate wood, and ruin stored personal items in the attic. Animal feces in the attic may also lead to stained ceilings and drywall. and terrible odors.

Ectoparasites

Mammals like raccoons, squirrels, mice, and other animals carry ectoparasites. After the animals have been removed, these pests will look for new hosts. Bat bugs, mites, ticks, and fleas are a few of the ectoparasites that could be left in your attic. Mice in the attic, bats in the attic, and raccoons in the attic are notorious for bringing these pests into your home.

We had an excellent experience with TruTech resolving a rodent problem in our attic. Zalen McFadden, TruTech technician, provided superior service on a recent very cold morning diagnosing the problem and spent a good deal of time reviewing every area of our home for entry points. He then sealed all of those points to prevent future access. We are very pleased with his work and methods of handling the situation. He is a professional who delivers beyond expectations.

Fred F.Bird control in Seminole County, FL
Called TruTech wild life service after calling Seminole County wild life preserve, pest removal, pest control, animal services, and even the fire department to remove a bird that was trapped in the soffit under the gutters over my garage. The TruTech dispatcher gave a me a two-hour same-day service window and told me I would hear from Parker. Heard from Parker within minutes and he showed up in two hours and was amazing! He was determined to get the bird out of the soffit after chasing the bird through the maze of soffits from outside the house for an hour. After 4 different soffit openings and removals, the bird flew out. It was tired and injured…so we fed it. Now the little finch found a home on my front lawn. Thanks Parker! Thanks TruTech!

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! We are licensed and insured.

Trutech® does not hire subcontractors for animal removal services. We employ expert technicians who are provided ongoing education and training in all aspects of animal control and removal. Many of our technicians hold degrees in Wildlife Biology, Entomology (insects), Ornithology (birds) or Herpetology (reptiles), some with Masters degrees in their specialty field.

We start by first removing the wildlife on your property, and cleaning up any damage. From there we’ll work with you to create a customized prevention plan so you won’t have the same issue again.

Our goal is to remove any wildlife as humanely as possible — often that means catching and releasing the animal.

We provide customized solutions to each individual customer so that we may solve the issue as quickly, efficiently, and cost effectively as possible.  An estimate may change based on the amount of animal activity or work needed to be done. All estimates are finalized with an exact price before any work begins.

Removing wildlife is only a temporary solution if you don’t fix and prevent why the animal ended up on your property in the first place.
