QUESTION:
I’m having issues with geckos in my home. I’d like to understand what services you have for removal and prevention.

– Charlotte, NC

ANSWER:
If geckos are getting in the house, we would look for entry points and exclude the openings. We would then set traps around the perimeter of the home. In addition to trapping, we will apply a pesticide to the exterior to control the gecko’s food source. Typically it takes 1-3 weeks to trap the majority of the geckos in the house.

As far as outside, the geckos can be deterred. We can keep them away from the house and minimize activity in yards with the application of pesticide around those areas and with traps. Once the initial population is under control, we recommend monthly visits to check traps and apply a food source control to keep the geckos out of the house.
